• Where do our training courses take place?

  All of our beauty training courses take place at our Doughcloyne premises unless stated otherwise on the training course's individual web page. Our hair training courses take place at our premises on Pembroke Street in Cork city.

• Do I need to pay for the course in full or can I pay a deposit and the rest on the day?

  To organise lesson plans, training kits and additional requirements such as refreshments, we need to finalise numbers and submit product orders in advance. For that reason, all courses need to be paid in full at least 2 weeks in advance.

• What is the cost of each course?

  The cost of each training course is listed on each individual web page. However, for courses available only to experienced professionals, you may need a trade login to view specific details and sign up to take part.

• What is included in the course price?

  Any products needed for practice elements of the courses as well as training materials and tea / coffee are included in the cost of the training.

• Do I need to organise a model to attend?

  A model is not required when attending the beauty training courses. If you need to arrange for a model to attend any of the hairdressing / barbering courses, you will be advised of this in advance.

• What certification is provided for the courses?

  Brands including Lycon and OPI provide specific certifications for training courses involving their products, while every course is certified by Hennessy Hair & Beauty at a minimum.

• Once I’ve completely a course, can I implement what I’ve learned straight away?

  All Hennessy Hair & Beauty courses are designed to allow participants implement new techniques and trends immediately. Some of our courses are available to complete beginners with a focus on helping them get started in the industry. Our advanced courses are available to participants with an established background in the industries only and, similarly, we aim to help these practitioners to put new techniques and tips to work right away.

• Is it possible to arrange group training?

  Yes, it is possible to arrange for tailored group training for a specific set of participants. At Hennessy Hair & Beauty we can provide on-site training for bigger professional groups and beauty training colleges as required.
