Hydrates, detoxifies, and an anti-inflammatory, antidepressant, antispasmodic, antiseptic, aphrodisiac, carminative, diuretic, tonic, sedative and cholagogue.
Obtained by cold pressing sweet orange or citrus sinensis peel. The tree originates in China.

Properties:
- Powerful antidepressant and relaxant. Often used in aromatherapy to ease stress.
- Powerful antiseptic and anti-inflammatory. Recommended for reducing symptoms of illnesses such as flu, colds and stomach pain, and for strengthening the immune system.
- Powerful antispasmodic. In massage dilute a few drops in sweet almond oil to prevent cramps.
- As a massage oil or in a bath, for diuretic effects, Stimulates the lymphatic system, helps to eliminate toxins and water retention to reduce swelling in legs so they feel less tight and heavy.
- Works well as a gentle aphrodisiac, and can be useful against impotency, erectile dysfunction, and lack of libido or sexual desire.
- Add a few drops to moisturising or anti-aging cream to help stimulate collagen production.

Essential oil is photosensitive and exposure to direct sunlight and UVA rays should be avoided for 24 hours after application.
